Saffron Bruno

Saffron Bruno is a songwriter and producer who prides herself on her classical music upbringing. She uses experimental sounds and lo-fi recording techniques to make unique pop songs. Most recent works include two self-produced instrumental albums that can be listened to for meditating, studying, and relaxing.

From studying classical music from a young age to finding her voice through singing, Saffron has always had the soul of a musician. While studying at UIUC, she realized that her true passion for performing didn’t have to be limited to only the viola. Now pursuing making her rockstar dreams into reality, Saffron writes and produces songs that nod to her classical roots while exploring new sounds in pop music. A fond memory from UIUC was performing with the University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra each semester in the viola section. 

Transcendental Groove and Transcendental Vibe are Bruno’s first instrumental albums, available Dec 2024 on all streaming platforms. Each song in these collections use a variety of natural sounds and experimental foley to curate a dreamy, ambient soundscape. These songs were all written for the sake of meditation and connecting to the inner self.
